Corona Attack LIVE: The deadly corona virus infection that created havoc in the country as well as the whole world from 2020 to 2022 has started increasing once again. The number of people infected with the new variant of Corona JN.1 has started increasing in many states including Delhi. Kerala has reported the highest number of 273 new cases in the month of May so far. A 9-month-old girl in Bengaluru has also been found infected with Kovid-19. After the new cases of corona came to the fore, the Health Department has issued an advisory and instructed the hospitals to remain alert and vigilant. In view of the recent increase in Kovid-19 cases in Delhi, Health Minister Pankaj Singh reviewed the situation. He said that so far 23 active Kovid-19 cases have been reported in the capital, whose report has come from a private lab.
Karnataka Health Department officials said that a 9-month-old child in Bengaluru has tested positive for COVID-19. They said that a gradual increase in cases has been observed in the last 20 days. Harsh Gupta, Principal Secretary, Health and Family Welfare Department, said that the infection was confirmed in the child through Rapid Antigen Test (RAT) on May 22. He said, ‘The patient’s condition is stable and he is currently admitted to Vani Vilas Hospital in Kalasipalya, Bengaluru.’ According to health department sources, the child is a resident of Hoskote in Bengaluru Rural District and was initially admitted to a private hospital. In a statement issued by the Health Department, it was told that out of the 35 active cases of COVID-19 in the state so far, 32 are from Bengaluru.

Kerala Health Minister Veena George urged all districts in the southern state to increase Covid-19 surveillance following a surge in cases in South-East Asia. George said health officials should closely monitor any surge in infections and take prompt action. She made the remarks during a meeting with district medical and surveillance officers here. Corona Attack News: Officials said that four people have tested positive for COVID-19 in Ghaziabad, following which the health department has stepped up surveillance in the district. He said that three of the infected persons are currently in home isolation, while one patient has been admitted to a private hospital. According to the report released by District Surveillance Officer Dr R K Gupta, all four cases have been reported from the Trans-Hindn area of the district. The report said that the patients also include an 18-year-old woman who had fever and cough since May 18 and was admitted to the hospital. During treatment at the private hospital, she tested positive for COVID-19. An elderly couple who recently returned from Bengaluru and live in Vasundhara Colony have also tested positive.
