Radhika Yadav Murder Case: Tennis player Radhika Yadav has admitted to killing her daughter. The police is investigating her claims. Meanwhile, Radhika Yadav was given a tearful farewell.
The murder of 25-year-old tennis player Radhika Yadav in Sushant Lok, a posh area of Gurugram, adjacent to the national capital Delhi, has shocked everyone. Her 49-year-old father Deepak Yadav is accused of the murder. The court sent him on one-day police remand on Friday (11 July). The police told the court that the revolver (the weapon used in the incident) has been found, but the bullets are yet to be recovered. Social media also has to be investigated.
Meanwhile, the family members bid final farewell to Radhika. Radhika was cremated in Wazirbad village of Gurugram. During this, her brother and uncle, along with the family and the people around were present. During Radhika’s funeral, her brother shouted Radhika-Radhika.
Meanwhile, the big question is why did the father kill her? According to the police, Deepak Yadav is changing his statement repeatedly. Earlier, he claimed that five rounds were fired at Radhika, out of which three rounds hit her body. However, Dr. Deepak Mathur of the team of doctors who conducted the postmortem said that four bullets have been removed from Radhika Yadav’s body.
According to the police
, Deepak said that he was angry with his daughter Radhika for opening a tennis academy. He tried to convince his daughter many times, but Radhika did not listen. Sector 57 police station in-charge Vinod Kumar said that Deepak claimed that people in the neighbourhood used to say that he was eating his daughter’s earnings. That is why he was tensed.

that he was upset with Radhika Yadav making reels on social media. He did not like making reels. The police is also investigating these claims. However, people who played with Radhika and took training from her say that her father Deepak often came with Radhika, there was never any tension. Police claimed, “Deepak has accepted his crime and told that he had objection to his daughter running a tennis academy, due to which there were many fights between the two.”

Meanwhile, a video of a song by Radhika Yadav has surfaced. Its lyrics are, “My caravan kept moving, my day kept fading away..then I remembered you, I cried thinking about you…” This song was uploaded on a YouTube channel named INAAM in June 2024.
According to news agency PTI, a police officer said that the video of this song might have caused tension in the house.
Where was the mother?
The question before the police is what was the mother doing in the house when the father shot Radhika Yadav? According to the FIR lodged on the basis of the police complaint filed by Radhika’s uncle Kuldeep Yadav, Radhika’s mother Manju Yadav was present on the first floor of the house at the time of the incident.
Sources said that Radhika’s mother has said that she was in the room during the incident, she heard the gunshot. She was resting due to fever when Deepak committed the crime. I don’t know how it happened. I don’t know why my husband killed my daughter. Radhika Yadav’s character was good.
Deepak Yadav lives in a two-storey house in Sushant Lok. Kuldeep Yadav said that Deepak Yadav, his wife Manju and daughter Radhika live on the first floor of the house located in Sector 57 while he lives on the ground floor.
Story right after the shooting
According to Kuldeep, around 10:30 am on Thursday (July 10), he suddenly heard a ‘loud sound’ and rushed to the first floor. There I saw my niece Radhika lying in a pool of blood in the kitchen and the revolver was found in the drawing room. My son Piyush Yadav also rushed to the first floor. Both of us picked up Radhika and took her in our car to Asia Maringo Hospital in Sector 56, where doctors declared her dead.
Kuldeep Yadav said that at the time of the incident, only Deepak, his wife and daughter were on the first floor of the house. He told the police that Deepak’s son Dheeraj was not present there at the time of the incident.
Kuldeep told the police, “My niece was a very good tennis player. I don’t understand why she was murdered? My brother has a licensed .32 bore revolver. She was lying there.”
Where did Radhika Yadav reach in tennis?
According to the website of the International Tennis Federation, Radhika Yadav played tournaments in Indore and Kuala Lumpur earlier this year, but these were qualifying competitions.
